Summer time is for living outdoors. This sun-sational time of year demands that we slow down and step back from life’s hectic pace. Bring a lounge chair to the beach, open a book from your vacation reading list, and prepare to be transported. Hike the Green Mountain trails, golf until the sun sets, swim in the cool, clear lake, or sleep until ten! At the end of the day, fire up the grill, light the candles, pour some wine, and dine al fresco as the evening air gradually cools.
As the evening light diminishes and the quiet sets in, a serenade can be heard from the “peepers” that line the lakes edges. Listen carefully and you just might hear taps coming across the cove from the boy’s camp indicating that the day has come to an end.
